Asus UX21 – Super Slim 11 6 inch Laptop Review
The Asus Eee Pad Transformer, the company seems to have invested a lot on designing new products which became more evident when they launched their Padfone and recent launch of one of the slimmest laptop after Macbook Air.
Asus UX21 has a more premium feel to it, which is mainly due to its built that is made of anodized aluminum, Frankly we do not see any signs of plastic any where on the device, back of the device is sealed up pretty well so you cannot change your batteries or have access to the interiors just like what you find on macbooks, features a 11.6 inch display with the resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels which looks quite vibrant and does reproduce colors really well.
It has a island style chiclet keyboard, but guess what? Keys are made of aluminum as well that gives a more richer feel to the laptop, trackpad made of glass and has built-in keys for right and left click instead of having separate buttons, track pad does support multi touch.
Under the hood this laptop runs on Windows 7, powered by intel core i7 processor and we are pretty sure there will be an i5 option as well for those who need more battery life, 2GB DDR3 RAM, 64GB and 128GB SATA III SSD one of the fastest storage option available right now. When you look around the laptop you cannot find much ports, it has a USB 3.0, USB 2.0, miniHDMI and 3.5 mm headphone jack and that’s about it. There is no word about the battery life yet and we do not official conformation about its availability as well.
