I had this problem when trying to install win7 from a usb drive. spectre x360-13t-3000 model laptop. problem is that win7 does apparently not come with usb 3.0 drivers, but both the usb ports on this laptop are usb3.0.. Install device drivers for windows 7. hardware devices need drivers to function properly. most of these drivers are installed automatically by windows 7 but if this is not the case these drivers need to be installed by the user.. See if msi has the software to create a usb installer (smart tool) or just use a dvd. :) windows 7 does not have the proper usb drivers to install on new hardware, this is common knowledge..
